Scenario 1- A cd cover for a classical music duo.I think symmetry and high contrast lighting could have worked really well here, with a black and white conversion and a close/tight crop to send it into the feild of abstraction.
Scenario 2- Create a high key head and shoulders portrait with a vibrant atmosphere.
Could have been executed to fit the brief better if i were wearing white, landscape orientation and shallow dof could have worked well to give a creative feel. The shadow on cheek is a little distracting, otherwise works well.
Scenario 3- create a portrait of 2 widowed farmers for an article on rural suicide, emulating evening light.
I like the crop/framing and expression/body language on the right hand side. Symmetry could have worked well here again. We weren't as succesful as we could have been in emulating the evening light. Rather than a yellow glow, it looks as though we have a colour balance problem. Next time I will look to reduce harsh shadows a little more.
